Do your kids love to learn about animals? Then you have to check out this cute little book, Amazing Facts about Penguins, by Dan Jackson.

This is a short book, stuffed full of great facts about Penguins. There are some things that I didn’t know, so it was a learning experience for mom and kiddos, alike.

The kids loved all the pictures in the book, and both kids (age 3, and 7), have asked to look at the book several times. It is also a perfect book for independent time, as my 7 year old is learning to read, and he can read the words he already knows, and fit together the other information based on the pictures.

I think that Dan did a great job, not only giving really great information, but also writing it in a way that gets kids interested. I am very pleased with the book, and have several more from Dan that I will be reviewing soon.
