Create something beautiful…

When I was just a child, my grandmother taught me how to crochet. It started out as just a single chain, but over time, I was able to create beautiful things; blankets, baby hats, baby booties, washcloths…
I always find crocheting to be very relaxing, and it is what kept me sane, while I was pregnant with my daughter…like I said, relaxing…that is until either my needles go bad, or I lose my place in a complex pattern.
Well, now that I have a new set of crochet needles and a set of absolutely adorable stitch markers, that won’t is a problem any longer. The crochet needles are amazing, they come in different sets, and I have the aluminum set, that ranges from 2.0 mm all the way to 10 mm, with half sizes all the way up to 6.5 mm. I have needles for any project now!

I have the set in the middle, and I am more than pleased with them, but as you can see, there is also a bamboo handles set, which is gorgeous, and also a larger sized set of acrylic needles.
Now, the stitch markers are beyond adorable, they look like cloth diaper (nappy) pins! As a crocheter, I think they rock, as a cloth diaper mom, I think that they are perfect for so many things!

Seriously, how cute are those?! They could be used for any number of things, stitch marking aside. How about baby shower invites? or even as table confetti at the baby shower? Ok, ok…back to using them as stitch markers, before I end up making my biological clock start ringing!
These stitch markers are great, they are easy to use, don’t snag the yarn, and come in a variety of colors, so if you like to color code, these would be perfect.
So, now the only thing left to do is pick your favorite yarn, a pattern, and start creating something beautiful!
