Functional Style for Men

There are tons of fashion choices for men these days, but how many can be labeled functional style? By Functional Style, I mean something that can be worn to work or to play. For my husband; who is a Jack of all trades, and is always working on something; Lugz is that company that provides him with the functional style he is looking for.

He can go from working on something, straight to a family outing, and look fab doing it. He has long been a fan of Lugz, because of their fit and durability. These are boots that have stood up to him chopping firewood, working in the yard, and hiking with the family. Not to mention the daily wear and tear that comes with any pair of shoes or boots that are worn often. Still, his Lugz boots are in great condition.

I love them because they look great on him, and there is a style of Lugz for just about everyone; even me! I choose the Scavenger X Chukka Boot in Wheat for my husband, because of the way they are made. They are insulated which means his feet stay warm while he works outside, and they have a padded insole which makes them comfortable to wear for long periods of time. In addition, they have slip-resistant outsoles, so I know he won’t slip and fall if he is working in bad weather.

They are made of synthetic nubuck and are very easy to take care of and keep clean, as most things just wipe right off. My husband did say that they are a bit more narrow in the toe than he is used too, but he was able to break them in pretty quickly.

My husband owns a few pairs of boots, but every day I see him head for his Lugz first. Once a lover of Lugz, always of a lover of Lugz! Although it looks like I am going to need to grab him a few more pairs!

Be sure to follow Lugz on social media to stay up to date on new styles, promotions, and more!
