Out of the Shoebox Ebook Review

I love history, I love hearing stories of the past, and its even better when you can hear it from a person that actually lived the events. It is one of the reasons that I love talking to my grandmother so much, hearing her stories about the Great Depression, and growing up. I get to learn so much more about true life events, than I do by reading a history book.
My love of history is also one of the reasons why I love reading autobiographies…you get to immerse yourself in an event that you heard about, but with so much more detail.

Much like this book, Out of the Shoebox, by Yaron Reshef. This is Yaron’s tale of his journey to learn more about his family, after receiving a phone call about a piece of land owned by his father.
Yaron goes into detail about his journey, and what he learns about his family…I really don;t want to give away too much, but just know that this story will bring out emotions that you won’t expect. The fact that much of the story of his family revolves around the horror that was the Holocaust, makes this story heart wrenching, but satisfying all at the same time.
The fact that he learns so much about his family, is satisfying, and will have you cheering for him as he slowly puts the pieces together…but the truth that is the holocaust will have your heart aching, not only for his family, but for all the families that perished at the hands of such hatred.
I really think that you should read Out of the Shoebox , you can find it on Amazon for $2.99 (Kindle) and $11.10 (Paperback).

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
